Every bottle has a name on it.
The bar asks, storage picks, and each handoff is signed with a PIN or a badge. When a bottle goes missing, you know whose hands it passed through, instead of guessing.
- Three levels of custody, from a simple pick to a signed pick and a signed count-in at the bar.
- Approval over a dollar limit, or for any bottle over a set price.
- Empty for full: the manager can require an empty back for each full that goes out.

Quick requests and bottle service jump the line
A table orders a bottle of Don Julio 1942 at 11 PM. The bartender ticks Bottle service, adds the mixers, and the liquor room hears a chime. Quick requests carry the table and ticket number so the runner knows where it’s going.
- Mixer carafes come with bottle service: the bar’s defaults filled in, plus or minus, or a custom one.
- The pick list includes the carafes, ticked off as they’re made, and printed if you want paper.
- On the dashboard: the pick queue sits at the top with bottle service first, live, with its own chime.
A locked iPad behind the bar
Pair the bar’s iPad once with a code. It opens to big tiles, nothing else. Staff tap their name and their PIN, do what they came to do, and it locks itself again.
- One screen at a time: request bottles, quick request, drink specs, find a bottle, ask the kitchen, closing spot check.
- Locked down on the server too, not just the screen: a bar device can send requests and nothing else.
- Locks after two minutes, or with Done. A manager can switch a device off from anywhere.
- Staff phones by QR code: scan the code printed in the back, and a phone becomes a locked bar device. New code any time someone leaves.
Specs and menus where they pour
Every drink’s recipe with exact pours, glass, garnish and a photo of how it should look, plus the menus as printed in the restaurant, so a new hire makes the same Old Fashioned as the head bartender.
- Recipes cost themselves from bottle prices: pour cost per drink, updated when an invoice changes a price.
- Ask the kitchen for limes and herbs with a slip the kitchen can print or read by text.

Where it all adds up
Counts, invoices and handoffs become one report: what the period cost, and where it didn’t add up.
